Since Blogger is an awesome free blogging platform so many people start to think of creating a blog and promoting some affiliate and earn some good money. But STOP! Blogger is not made for affiliate marketing.
I have seen many peoples cursing Google for deleting their blog. But its always their mistake. Its clearly mentioned in Blogger's terms of use that you are not allowed to create a blog with the sole purpose of promoting an affiliate product. So if you are dreaming of it then you better wake up. On Blogger you can build a great blog, gather a lot of audience and can even earn from adsense but no place for affiliates. Then you think wordpress.com blog, but they also dont allow affiliate links.
Secondly, if you are a web developer then you will find hosting your site manually more interesting. You can easily find some free web hosting services on Google. Some of them also give you a sub-domain. Going this way gives you more control over your website. Moreover since you are going to make a site just around one product a large bandwidth is also not required and free hosting providers can give you sufficient bandwidth to get your site running.

Right now Tumblr seems to allow affiliate links, but some peoples are having troubles there also. So If you want to sell affiliate products on any free platform then you can consider having a free web site. There are number of free website providers around the web.
